Dedicated pickleball facilities, indoor and outdoor, rent courts by the hour and run open play sessions where players rotate in. Padel, played on an enclosed court with glass walls, is arriving in the Sun Belt and big cities; platform tennis (paddle) is a winter game on heated, elevated courts in the Northeast and Midwest; racquetball and squash live inside athletic clubs and YMCAs; badminton and table tennis have their own clubs in most metro areas. Equipment is cheap to rent or borrow for a first session at nearly all of them.

Roslyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Roslyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We go here to rent a court to play badminton which is better cadio than expected. They have tons of classes. My friends kids take badminton here and they enjoy it.

The owner’s daughter did not record my friend’s reservation and we had to wait for a whole half an hour before getting on the court. When my mom and my brother went up to the “lobby” and was trying to come back down, the owner rudely stopped my mother and accused her of bring in someone new (we booked for four people, they thought my brother was a 5th). The interior looked as if it was not taken care of at all and lighting was terrible. The owner took extra care to make sure my mom wasn’t getting on the court and playing (which would make it 5 people instead of four kids). We left a few minutes early because we knew there would be a fee and I had a bad feeling. Overall, the service was terrible and it was very inconvenient (because of the thirty minute wait, it was dark outside and unsafe).

The scummy and illegal business this center runs doesn’t deserve a single star. To start, me and my friend booked a hour-reservation for a badminton court a day in advance. When we arrived at the sports center, the badminton session went as intended until the 45th minute. A staff member approached us requesting us to get off the hour session early to let other people in (there were two other courts open). I told him we registered for an hour and he left us alone afterwards. As soon as the hour reservation was up, a second staff member approached us to request an extra sum of money for 15 extra minutes. She claimed that the hour-reservation was shortened to 35 minutes, and we had to pay almost double our original reservation to make up two 35 minutes. She refused to let me end the hour session and pay the sum I booked on the website. When I asked about the changes to the reservation, she said it wasn’t updated on the website and claimed we got the hour from a ‘third party website’, which is false because she had contact with my friend whom booked it. Me and my family soon after demanded a refund as this business was straight up illegal. The staff handled the situation poorly. In f

Wish no stars was an option. I booked a one hour court rental for my son and a friend. When we got there, we searched for any personnel for over 20 minutes to no avail. At one point some kids that were playing there told us that usually there is no one in attendance at the business usually until later in the day. I had the boys start playing and left them there. After I picked them up, I found out that the staff arrived and at first tried to tell them the court was not available and they had to leave. After they showed them the reservation, a girl approached them and told them the price online was wrong $48 per hour to rent the court and that it should have been &80 per hour and they need to pay $36 more. The boys complied and paid the difference but I didn’t find out about this until I got home. I called and no one answered so I left a VM. The lady that charged the kids called me back and with no explanation or contradiction said she would refund me the $36 via Zelle. Several messages later I got the refund. The business is very shady… who runs a sports complex with absolutely no staff on site. This was the first time there for us and definitely the last time. Unprofessional, rud

The girl at front desk was so rude. My kid has been playing there for two years and was always treated in super bad attitude like we all own her 200 bucks. I heard that’s owner’s daughter. If that’s true, her dad will be super happy that she drove many clients away. Lots of our play mates stop going these days just because of the young lady’s “nice treat”. Good luck!
